I recently bought these Ludwig gold sparkle drums, 9x13 b/o badge tom, 14x22 keystone badge kick, both are 3ply shells with clear interiors.

Nice drums. BTW, I don't think you should tell us how much you paid for them, because you're probably going to be selling them in a couple weeks anyway.;)
Blaemire / Jenkins-Martin drums.

Very nice score for 400.00,add a 16 either badge, and you have a nice vintage kit for not a lot of money at all, what was the mod?The cymbal or tom mount?Almost looks from the pic that there was a rail.
I would say you paid to much for them..Looks like someone added the double tom mount to the shell.Had a rail mount at one time why the mount is to close to the badge and the L- arm cymbal mount is a Dead give away.....Mikey

Yes, there was a double tom mount added and the holes for the rail mount were covered. I know this is not a collectable kit and that's not why I bought them. I already have a 16x16 Ludwig b/o badge floor tom I'm going to recover in gold sparkle.
I still think you got a good deal for a player kit,a lot of people think that those maple poplar clear int shells are tops, lets say you have 200.00 into the ft,that is 600.00 total for a late 60's early 70's ludwig, that is a lot of kit for the money.
