I'm just curious, did ludwig ever offer cast hoops from the factory on toms in the late 70's early 80's? i have a '79-'80 6-lug tom with "ludwig" cast hoops and was wodering if someone added them on. I looked through every catalog page i could find from that era, and didnt see ANY cast hoops.

If i recall right Ludwig did in the mid-80s-[1984].. I don't recall a 6 lug rim, the one's i have seen are 8,10,12 lug rims....Mikey
