Hello, let me start by saying that I am not a drummer and know zero about drums and/or drumming. With that said, I have a question about storing drums as well as drum care in general. I have in my care a set of black panther Ludwig drums that were purchased new by my dad in the early 70's. They are date stamped 1972 and up until a couple days ago were played regularly by one of my son's friends. Being a bunch of 15 year old kids, the band has split and I am reclaiming my basement space. What is the best way to store these? They are in very good condition and I would like to keep them that way. What is the best way to clean them before storage? I don't want to damage them with harsh or incorrect cleaners. Any and all help would be appreciated.
