IS there a matching snare?? Love to see that. Perhaps a Black Beauty would fit the bill? They are seriously nice drums.

I've seen a matching snare, but that was a few years back.... seems even more rare than the 18" floors

I tried to send a message to the guy selling the bis BP kit on eBay.

I wanted to ask him about maybe selling the (non Citrus mod) 24" Bass Drum separately, but couldn't send a message.

Maybe it's because i am in Germany... has anybody been in touch with the guy???

66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

It's a 1969 "Superbeat" aka a Super Classic set with the optional 20" kick instead of 22". So 20/13/16. My fav size combo currently. I have several of this size combination. These drums are gorgeous inside & out & really PROJECT! They needed a REAL good cleaning & some TCL. I'm pumped to gig with them this weekend! I did get a sort of matching snare though..

The preacher in Ohio, that has this kit with 18 ft , and a bit of wrap thats coming loose , and it looks like all Bp , then again who knows ! I talked to him , and he has changed his mind a lot from 500 , he then relisted 700 , needing 450 in parts (all rims missing and t rods new skins etc) for restoration , again it has 18 " ft. but missing hoops and t rods it's a huge gamble ! but I backed off . So roll the dice on this one if I was closeer I would do a discovery and see what's under Bp wrap . He is not to cooperative , if, big if , there orange under it than its a gold mind but never the less a ton of work....

I love BP so much that i almost rewrapped my orphans Ludwig kit with a very similar material from a furniture upholstery shop, which would've been even cheaper than the custom wrap i went with.. If i ever find a good deal on some bare vintage Ludwig shells, that's what i intend to do..

18" BP Floor Toms aren't insane to find, compared to something I saw for sale once a couple years ago, which was a BP set with 2-18" bass drums!
