In that case, you have the curved spurs that are made from square stock. Those came out in 1970, I think.

Those curved spurs actually came out sometime in mid 1969. I have seen them on a few keystone badge sets. It pains me to think of this but a guy I went to high school with picked up a blue sparkle 20,12,14 from 1969 with those spurs for $300.00 in the early 90's. He ended up drilling them out for pearl spurs and totally ruined the set! I wish I had known he was going to do that! I still get nightmares about it as you don't see many downbeat sets from late 1968 in to 1969. I guess that makes all the other original ones all that more rare.CryBaby
