I got an old 17" marching snare off feebay and found this paper tag inside. Anyone seen it before? Looks similar to the logo from the 1911 and 1912 catalogs. The shell of the drum is a little odd, too, from my limited experience. Interior is mahogany, but vertical grain and with a single-ply re-ring around the middle. Unfortunately, it has multiple cracks all the way through. Could this be one of the earliest L&L drums made? Am I the only one with this paper tag? Been on multiple forums and have gotten absolutely ZERO info on this.
