Just came across this little guy for sale at $100 obo on my local classifieds.. 20x18 i believe, ten lugger in a snazzy ruby sparkle fade..Yes, NOT vintage but was wondering if anyone knows if this series was well built ? They seem to be. i was looking to put together a 2 piece vintage-ish Ludwig kit for gigs during the winter season because i can't stand loading and unloading so much gear during these cold a** winter months, going up and down my stairs (i live on the second floor of a 3 story triplex townhouse) so i was looking at possibly picking this drum up. I threw him an offer of $75. I'm only considering it because, 1-- it looks like a good deal, and 2-- the front hoop on my Sonor 2007 18x17.5 kick cracked again after i did a minor repair on it that i thought would last a while..So, rather than splurge on a replacement Gibraltar hoop at $70 a pop, i'd rather get this little guy and worry about repairing/replacing the Sonor later.. So what do you gentlemen think ?

Thanks for the info..Now i think it's time to pull the trigger on this bass drum.
What do you think my chances are on finding a matching 12" and 14 or 16" floor ?Hmmmm

Depends on how patient you are.
I pieced this kit together off of ebay over a couple of years. Didn't pay more than $45 for any drum and that was only for the snare. Most were $20…
