Ludwig 15x12 value? Last viewed: 1 day ago

Trying to get an idea of the value of a Ludwig marching snare. 15x12, stainless steel wrap, die cast hoops with "Ludwig pat. pend." stamped on them, blue/olive pointy badge, SN 1735XXX. Seems to be in overall good shape and complete except for the leg rest. Any ideas?

Is it stainless steel over wood? In which case, I believe it would actually be chromed steel, no? If it is a straight up stainless with no wood, then it would be worth more than the wrapped wood. The COW would be a 6 ply shell covered with the chrome, if my understanding of this era is correct.

It is 6 ply with stainless or chrome over wood. I would put overall condition at good to good+. The biggest problem with condition I see is that someone scratched their initials in the chrome. I will try to post pics later today. Thanks for the input.
