Ludwig Pre serial number 12x15 Thermo gloss tom. it was a marching tenor tom, Virgin shell, single tension model, white Interior, it is in very good condition, just needed a good cleaning, the top is a Remo ambassador white coated and the Bottom head is a Ludwig head is a Nos Ludwig db 1000 smooth white, I may convert it to a double tension model, I have all but and the (16) 5.5 " chrome Tension rods or longer is what I'll need if you have them?? and the tone control,, I've been after a drum like this one for a long time,!! hope you like it.Cool Dude

So... are the lugs just "hollow" to allow the really long tension rods to pass through?
Very nice. I'd soooo rock that thing. I've been looking at marching tenor drums for good 15" tom material on the Bay.

Jon, yes it just a hollow lug, this is just a standard classic lug, that has the internal parts removed, no spring or lug Inserts! ludwig,slingerland,etc and all drum companies did this sort of thing with their single tension models.
