Just checked out the Adele video..nice Luddy's. The vintage kits really add a certain flavor and look to those videos. Also the drum sound on both is very live and non-processed and very "vintage" convincing.

Both very talented female vocalists indeed,...
Not a huge fan of the genre myself but the drum sound on Adeles' intro intrigued me from the first time I heard this song on the radio. Very natural and more pleasant to the ear than the usual artificial bass drum sounds you hear everywhere.
