GOOD CALL! The drum looked suspect, but there was enough Slingy DNA on it to make it a tuff call, but you nailed it! Wondering if this might be a Mojo build, he's been doing a lot of Slingy inspired stuff lately, but he would have had the good taste to use Stick Savers. If you're getting her for a good price & sounds as good as she looks, I'm jealous! LOL!I'm going to try my first Sparkle Lacquer finish on the 15x6 & even though it's a 15" shell, I'm still going to make her an 8 lug. Really want this lil' sweetie to open up...looking for that fat, big band sound from the 40's. I've got a set of NOB Beaver Tail Cigar lugs & a 3 point strainer & butt from a parts shell I bought & just got a set of NOB hoops off the Bay. Gonna have some fun with this one!...it's for me and I love me some Slingy's!

I have, by sheer coincidence, a pair of 15" snare hoops...PM if you want them. I'll let 'em go cheap.

Thanks Jonni!...but I just bought a set of 8 lug 15" NOB hoops a couple weeks ago (they are in NOS condition) & also have sets of COS & COB 15"'s, so I'm pretty well covered. Thanks for the heads up though!

Yeah, I love these guys! Great customer service & no BS!

BTW, I've been meaning to get with you about the donation for the kids activities you're involved with. I have a loft full of drums, some of which I bought cheap on the Bay for the same thing you're doing. I'm out of work at the present time & I can't afford shipping cost, but would gladly donate a few drums if you have someone that can pick-up the shipping cost. All of these have been cleaned, repaired & are ready to make some kid happy! No junk, they are all fully functional, they're used & the heads are used, but all are in good shape. I also have a ton of parts, so if you have any of these projects you need parts for let me know & I'll see if I've got it.
