Late 50's Super Gene Krupa Radio King Snare Last viewed: 8 hours ago

Hi guys,

UPS dropped off my late 50's (57 or 58 I think) Super Gene Krupa "Radio King" snare and I wanted to share some pics :) Drum is single ply maple with maple re-rings and has all nickel hardware, except for the telescope lever which has been replaced with a chrome (original?) lever. Shell appears to be in pretty good shape, although the wrap has mellowed quite a bit.

Can anyone recommend a good polish/cleaner for nickel? Also, what do you guys recommend for heads? I was thinking either an emperor or ambassador for the batter and ambassador for the reso? Thanks!

James
