Kingsmusic ebay auctions

Loading...

would somebody please go to ebay's completed auction for 2 Ludwig 1400 cymbal stands and tell me if something doesn't look right here. I, myself, won an auction for another pair of 1400 stands that had the price bid over $300 by the same bidder. I just now won a Buck Rogers snare stand from Kingsmusic ebay auction and the same guy is in that one too, just under my winning bid.

I don't think I'm insinuating anything, I'd just like someone other than me to look at these auctions. When I look, I see something 'taint right.

Is it just me?

I, too will not cast disparaging words towards our friends in the other state.

What I will say is this ... back when I used to eBay, I bid on a handful of auctions from this seller and noted that the price would increase "beyond the norm". When I would drop out, the bidding leveled and the auction would expire with the winner. Shortly thereafter, it was relisted awaiting the next round of bidding. This happened several times. I blocked that seller.

Understand I am not saying anything about this seller. I have had a couple transactions with him. The most recent was this past month, a Rogers NIB Big R period Bass drum tom post with arms. I paid 102 and change at close + shipping. It was about what I expected to pay.

However, shill bidding is far more prevalent on ebay than ever before. The screwed up way in which you cannot see a persons ID who is bidding is complete BS and encourages shill bidding. Back the way it was before.... I have busted almost a dozen sellers shilling their own auctions.

I have had between 500 and 600 transactions on ebay. I have grown more wary than ever concerning ebay purchases. I notice between around 20 percent of sellers arent bothered with posting feed back. They take it, but dont give it.

Shilling is a bastard thing to do and I hope people who do that choke on their dinner. Bad things ought to happen to bad people. I hate people that lie, break deals, sell crap and conceal it. They are thieves and I hate thieves.

Just sayin.

People who have no honor should not receive respect.

understand I am not accusing anyone of anything. I just want you guys who have been in this longer than me to agree that something is afoot.

The stands I bought for waaaaaaaaaaay too much money, which can happen

when someone falls asleep at the wheel (wink), were returned with good words to Richard but I told him I couldn't use those stands for that price in the condition they were in...nice, but not $300+ nice. I gladly ate the return shipping to undo what I had done, or let be done. It's obviously important, or at least very nice, to have a return policy when buying online.

Back to the original issue, this bidding here makes no sense to me, or does it? These stands may very well be back on ebay in the not too distant future

I have a feeling. Just had to ask after seeing what I saw. Thanks for the replies.

Another reason not to use Feebay but the VDF!!!!...Feebay wont persecute shill bidding because they profit from it. Talking about the cat taking care of the fishes...

I've said it before and i'll say it again... Ebay and their evil twin, Paypal need to be boycotted by everyone. I dropped out of that horrible system more than a year ago with 100% pos. feedback for over 200 transactions. Couldn't take the double-dealing and having their hands in my pocket anymore.

I hope ebay and Paypal eventually wither and die on the vine. Rip-off artists, all of them. They'll never get another cent of my money.
