Hi,

So my wife returned from a yard sale with an old kick drum and I need to find a replacement lug for it. I've attached a picture of the drum and of the lug to this post. Any ideas what I should be looking for in a lug?

It's not a drum in great condition but she'd like it to look consistent for aesthetic reasons. I reckon I'll be able to tune it up to sound reasonable enough for her to learn on.

It's a blue sparkle cover.

looks like m.i.j. stencil kit 1970s or earlier. ludwig classic knockoff lugs. is there a badge on it? anyway. you said your wife brought you a kick drum home from a yard sale? my next question. does she have a sister?

I was thinking the same thing.

We need more female drummers too. The women I've worked with are great at thinking outside the rhythmic box, so to speak.

The drum to me is a 60's M.I.J. drum it has copys of Ludwig lugs..I may have a lug for you i have to check...Mikey
