Is a four piece Kent set worth $300. Looks like it has some original hardware. All four drums seem to match and don't look to be in rough shape!

I think a 4 pc American made Kent including snare should go for in between 300.00 to 500.00 depending on condition,sizes,and the wrap,check the bearing edges closely,they are notorious for having poorly done or non existing edges,so figure that into your offer,but if the drums are in good condition and complete I think 300.00 is a very good price,especially with a matching snare IMO.
