John Grey Capri 5X14

Here is a vintage John Grey Capri snare...It has 6 lugs...Size is 5" x 14"...All original except top batter head and snare cords...The wrap is in near mint condition and the chrome has very minimal pitting...

Rillow64...It didn't come with a key, but, I just bought an extra one from fellow VDF member Arno...The key I have in my collection, stays in my collection so that's why I got an extra one...In the meantime, I'm using a slotted Premier that works just fine...

Amazing that they made the effort to put cast hoops on a 6 lug 14" drum. Those are rare birds. Only other company that I can think of , that did that was ASBA.

I'll bet it's not a shabby player.

Premier did 6 lug light die cast rims on a Olympic wood snare I had...

Hello. Nice snare you have. I have a question. If you don't mind. I bought a John Grey tom 12"x8" Aqua Sparkle wrap .How could I look to find out its age. The guy said from the 60s ? Thank you.D' Drummer
