Jazz Fest tension rod length

Hi everyone,

I recently picked up a 61 Jazz Fest (my first one) and I have a question.

Can someone tell me the proper length the tension rods should be?

I'm pretty sure they're 2" overall length.

The proper way to measure tension rods is from below the collar to the end of the threaded shaft. Ludwig used a rod length of 1-5/8" for snare drums with a 5" depth. These are also a common length today. Hope this helps.
