Jack Kerouac on drums

I remember Jack Kerouc mentioning "his old drumsticks" in one of his books. I've been trying to find some picture of him behind a kit, so far, this is what I've found. Looks like he's actually just setting it up/tearing it down. Nice drums, anyway. I'm thinking RB Gretsch?
