Hey, it's still a nice looking drum set by a company that no longer makes drums, so it should be respected or it will go the way of the Dodo. Too bad for the seller it's not what they believe it to be. Maybe if someone told them they'd be cool about it and lower the asking price.

I had an identical kit for a few days last year. I bought it for the cymbals. It's basically a glorified Pearl export & even then some of the Export kits from this period are, dare I say, much better. The only thing I liked was the COS snare modelled after a Krupa snare, albeit the Clamshell strainer. And that's not even in this sale! I sold the kit for something like $200 .

1970 Ludwig Blue Oyster Super Classic
1977 Rogers Big R Londoner 5 ebony
1972/1978 Rogers Powertone/Big R mix ebony
60's Ludwig Supersensitive
Pearl B4514 COB snare ( the SC snare)
Pearl Firecracker
PJL WMP maple snare

I like the fact that they used a comma instead of a decimal point.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

in all fairness, I think my Canadian neighbor made a mistake with the comma!

he has it listed as $550.00 on Quebec kijiji.

Do you guys not know that in different Countries and/or language groups the comma and the decimal point symbols are swapped around in terms of meaning? It's configurable in your Microsoft software, boys. It depends on your language/Country setting.
