Is this an original wfl finish? Worth buying?

Does this seem like something I should pick up? It's a bit of a mix match kit but with some love could be cool! Is this an original finish for a wfl kit? I've never seen that finish before.

It was one of the posts where I was just stoked to maybe buy and wasn't being realistic.. Of course mahogany from the 50's/60's would be much darker by now.

Looks like those have a maple outer ply so they were likely originally lacquered in some solid color (drums that were built to be painted rather than wrapped had a maple outer ply instead of the more typical mahogany). The hoop mounted tom holder indicates a less expensive set, and those were usually painted. So that's probably not the original finish but it is the original exterior of the shells stripped and clearcoated. Probably looks pretty nice. I'd be tempted if they were local to me.
