Internal Muffler ?

Hi, I wanted to fit an internal muffler to a current model Gretsch hammered brass snare. I just received a Gibraltar that I ordered from the US.. but do not like the crappy plastic knob & toggle they have fitted. Anyone know of a good quality muffler with metal fittings being still available nowdays..

( I have lots of external mufflers etc, just prefer the internal variety )

There are often Vintage Gretsch mufflers offered on eBay. I will bet that some folks here will sell you one.

that sounds like an option.. we'll see what transpires.. it's a new drum though, so needs something "nice & shiny"..
