Impact Drums?

There was set for sale a couple of months ago in Glendale or Pasadena...I cant remember well. It was the the three up one down I think. $350.00 or so. I wasnt interested because theyre way too wild for an old guy like me....:p

I bought a new set of Impact drums in the late 90's after reading a review in Modern Drummer. I was playing outdoors alot and knew that the fiberglass would stay in tune much better. It is a very traditional set of double headed drums with 8,10/12/14 toms 16x20 bass and 61/2 x 14 snare. I was able to e-mail Bermuda (Weird Al) with questions about some specifics and he gave me a name to contact at Impact. The set worked great for my needs and looked good in their deep red wrap. I would consider them mid-level drums nowdays. I'd be glad to answer any questions....

Here's their marching bass drum equivalent. The lugs were the same type used on the Rogers R-380's from the early 1980's.
