Now that I can see the interior, I agree that they are not Recording Customs. I also maintain that they are resprayed. I can see it, and it DOES explain the missing badges. Perhaps they were a mismatched finish at one point.
No matter though. You got a bunch of nice Yamaha drums of an excellent price, and I am sure they sound great. That is all that counts.
