Probably it is original, the throwoff could have been changed out but not a big deal at all. The grommet replacement is a devaluer, though. I'd be careful when cleaning not to use ultra-abrasive steel wools in the future, small scratches may appear on the chrome. Still, all in all a nice looking drum. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I'm lost.... what is original ?
I removed the badge at one time for shell cleaning. I guess I trashed the original badge/hole grommet while doing so. I replaced it with an aluminum hole grommet. I would like to find the correct badge/hole grommet to properly affix the badge to shell. Right now it spins around. It is the original badge from the drum.
.....and the badge.
Blaemire / Jenkins-Martin drums.

Clapping Happy2 all those original parts to Inventory couldn't keep up with it all??:)
The Grommet and the throwoff may be non-original. This isn't brain surgery, unless you want it to be.
Why are we dragging this thread on and on? I already stated yesterday what wasn't original and posted pics against an unmolested original....DOH

I'm with you man, but when Pounder stated "it" with no reference as to what "it" was, I thought we were heading off into a new direction.
If only I could get that brain surgery that enables you to read minds, I wouldn't have to ask questions.
I'm back to all good now.
Thanks
:)
Thanks to all. The magnet really grabs both top and bottom rims real fast and tight. The magnet just barely sticks to the shell. Is this because the shell is an alloy? Is there aluminum in the shell metal mix or something else?
Thanks to Mr. Jerry Jenkins

Your supraponic is a chromed aluminum shell. Check this thread out for more info....http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=9441
