I think 2015 may have been the first year they stopped numbering badges. All I know is that I bought a brand new classic maple in 2012 and ll the B/O badges are numbered. I added a matching 14x14 in 2015 and it just has the sticker inside.

Aside from the badge, I'm more curious as to what those little black gaskets are on the threads of the tension rods. Never saw those before. Purpose?

The black gaskets on the tension rods prevent the rod from falling on the floor (if it loosens up while playing?). I call them O-rings and don't like them!
