I was hoping you guys might be able to help. I am working on piecing together a kit, 30's-40's era, and have been looking for a 16x16 tom. I found this guy on ebay. I was wondering if you guys have any idea on how much it would cost to restore it, and if it is even worth it.

No you shouldn't be, unless you're looking for something collectable in all original or pristine condition, otherwise there's a lot of player's drums to be had out there in the $100 - $200 range. (PM me if you're interested in a 16" Leedy FT with bottom tack-on head missing.)
Shop around until you find something in the condition and degree of restoration you're comfortable with.
