The seller is asking 80$ but i would shoot for lower because im broke and only if theyre possibly some sort of find. The seller said they were from the 70s but i cant tell very much from his photos. I might check them out if anyone responds positively because i dont think hes had any interest in them so far. Any idea of what brand these are? I havent written him back yet so il see what happens. They are both MIJ. The blue one is a Pearl made drum, I'm pretty sure, but the red one I'm not sure about.

These are not really rare drums. They need work to sound their best. If the guy is looking to unload them quickly, then I wouldn't pay more than $50 for the both of them. $40 for both would be a better deal. Anyway, I wouldn't pay $80 for both. They are fun to mess around with, but they aren't really valuable in any way, unless someone has a set without a snare they want to complete.

They are from around the mid/late 60s-early 70s.

Ah thanks! Ya, i was thinking of offering 50$ but i already have a Coronet that i got the edges fixed on and i dont really need more of that same thing. Maybe an older, American made metal snare though.

Those are both Pearl snares, bith stencils, and who knows for sure what badge they carried. Anyway, 40 is top dollar in their current condition, so bid low and hold your linme, cause at 50, you are done. And I have too many that are really nice that I would part with and make you a good deal, maybe. If the wife will let me sell any, that is.flowers2
