I know this is not part of vintage drums info, however I had to post this, I just had the opportunity to play a Carbin Fiber kit, and all I can say is O MY GOD!!! These shells are the bomb, literally, they project like no other shell I've heard, and you can drop them from a 2 story building, will last forever.........anyone heard of these, I don't ever hear anyone talk about CF...

I did a search company called Canopus drums has teamed up with Rocket shells, to produce carbon fiber sets, said to be the loudest drums in the world.

I too have a Tempus C/F kit. I believe that it is a thinner shell makeup than the Rocket shells. Great sounding, lightweight and extremely durable drums.
Do you guys know if these CF sets show up ever used? I could not find much on e bay (did see one tempus set) I can't imagion how expensive these sets are new, I saw a price list from rocket and noticed a 24" bass drum for 7K. crazy.
