...I never joined this forum before. Hi everyone! Lots of you probably know me from elsewhere.

If you don't, I'm 35, drumming for a couple of decades, always buying and selling gear for fun. Got a fantastic wife and three young ones. Anything else you want to know? Have a great day!

Yes, this forum much slower but better. Imagine tearing apart an old kit on a snowy afternoon to clean it, tinker around... that kind of speed.

... and may I make mention: We never wanted to be like "DFO", or many of the other drum forums out there! Those are excellent forums for sure!, and we have many members on both, and even more, but... the FOCUS on the VDF has always been Vintage Drums. With a sharp focus like that, yeah... this place is a little laid back in it's pace, but that is part of the charm! David and I were just talking about the fact that we now have OVER 15,000 members... which is insane! However, only .25% are ACTIVE on a daily basis, and that's great because that gives the VDF a real feel of community, and that's just how we like it!
