hey everyone,

im new here! so...hello! haha...

ive been passed on a great 5pc pearl drum set...! great condition...

now here is the problem! asking my dad what kind of model it was he just responded to me with ... "it was jeff porcaro's drum set"

so im like....ok.... fair enough! its been five years now since i first started using it and i just want a change....so i decided to sell it !

now that i dont know what model it is...how can i put a price on it...? maybe its a really good set.... who knows! i just dont want to make the wrong decision....!

ill put a pic underneath this post...maybe yous can help me out? it would mean alot....! The Band

Welcome!

Being a Jeff Porcaro fan, I have seen pics of him in Pearl Promo's behind kits that looked a lot like yours. The exception being, Jeff used 3 rack toms mounted to stands & the bass was usually virgin. BUT, Jeff had a lot of kits...I mean a lot of kits...so what you have may very well be a Porcaro kit. As to the value, I guess that would depend on wether you have documentation saying it was one of his kits.

BTW-I'd love to wake up in the morning & walk out on the deck to that view! To hell with the drums...I want your house!

I can say that ive seen the kit that your speaking of.... it has 3 toms... though one supported on the crash stand....the other two are on the floor drum.... at that point i said i actually have a porcaro kit...but considering that my dad bought it in the early 80s .... so i cant say if he actually has anything that proves its a porcaro kit....

ps hahahaha its not my house .... its where me and my band had a concert once haha !!!Walking
