We can't evaluate anything without a few decent pictures.

I think he means to keep the drums and to receive a partial refund to be decided between himself and the seller.

YES that's what I meant. Sorry, english is not my main language, maybe my sentence was confusing...

I have no problem to keep those drum if I pay a honest price. I just want to have a rebate from the original seller, because anyway if he is honest, he probably won't be able to sell them again at 500$ (btw he was asking 600$) now that he know they are not ludwigs...

Yeah I usually stay out of these kind of topics.....but seriously, without pics we are only taking the original poster's word on what he thinks he has.....as far as flipping them and trying to get a partial refund.....good luck. Sounds like they are pretty worthless drums......

That`s OK,..No worries ,...But if you got $500 in hand,...you can get a desent set that wont buzz, warp or get commentary !! I know someone with paper thin drums and they`er nothing but problems. Don`t buy a headache !!

I would get all my money back, if possible, and start over.

And now that you know at least one place to get some advice before your next purchase... please do drop by and ask.

If you have a better idea presently of what you type of set you might like and your budget, right here may be a good place to begin your search as well.

Best of luck

Jonyrainbow has a blue glass Slingerland kit that would go for less than that ... Most likely. It's a sweet grouping of mismatched shells, but sounds about like what the Canadian gent might want. Just a thought.
