Well,

As mentioned in the title...

Got myself a Roland TD11KV ekit...(second hand of course)..

Dual zone pads & Cyms...etc...

Well, I love them..I'm not ashamed to say...lololol..

Used them for 2small gigs and the setup, tear dwn time was something new for me..lol

Also playing Top Pop or Salsa,Dance,rock..etc..

It does save time having to retune your snare after every tune..lol

Thoughts,,?

I think that's great!

I love using electronics at rehearsal. They give you the ability to control your volume and (hopefully) the rest of the band can follow.

I have played my triggered set at a couple of shows too, although it's not an easier set up thanks to all the wiring, on top of the regular setup. I compare electronic drums to my 'regular' car that I drive every day (a 2010 model) and my vintage drums to my '64 Olds. The newer car is really nice to drive and take on trips, but there's nothing like going for a rip in the '64, just like there's nothing like the pleasure of playing the vintage drums!

The Roland kits and sound modules are very nice, I am sure you will enjoy them.
