Hi everyone, I am new on this forum!
Some one advice me to put some pictures of my drums here, and see if you guys have seen these Kind of Gretsch paint in Blue lacquer finish before.
The drums are stop sign badge, might be made in 1973.
What do you think?

Can u snap a pic of inside if one of the shells capture paper tag and backside if badge area showing inside by vent hole.

I've never seen this color for this year model, or the bass drum mount at all on gretsch. I've seen this color on catalina drums.
one more pic of the inside where vent hole grommet comes through. also take head off to see what finish looks like at the edge of the drum. my suspicion is these were repainted ?

Who knows, it could be...The edge looks fine to me, like old Gretsch edges...I'll take more photos later !

the flange grommet is correct. I've seen this color in early 80's drop g gretsch era. looks right to me thus far.

I am very curios about this...I have a friend he had early 70s and everything is the same, except he has original tom holder but he never seen this color before...In my drum set the first owner put this rogers kind of tom holder when the drums were new...The good thing is that this drums sound really good !!
