Just got a 66 ludwig 6 lug snare drum, the drum is in great shape but the hoops look like roller coasters. The bottom is COB and the top is COS. My question is since this drum is not highly collectible and will be played more than displayed, is there a chance of finding repops or will I have to keep looking on ebay and perhaps end up with the same problem again?

If it's going to be a player and not a displayer, then just buy some cheap, 1.6mm COS rims. You can get them anywhere.
I'm not sure how a COS rim could be bashed so hard as to make it "like a rollercoaster" unless someone was playing on the rim with a hammer....but what do I know what people do with their drums these days? Burger Kin
