i have a very special kit for sale today!

Vintage 1960's Ludwig 'Downbeat' 4pc kit in original Black Oyster Pearl finish!

-8"x12" tom

-super rare 14"x14" floor tom

-14"x20" bass drum

-5"x14" super clean supraphonic snare drum

the drums are in original condition and feature no extra holes or mods, white painted interiors, white felt baseball bat mufflers and consecutive serial #'s! serials are in the 3xxx--- and place the kit at 1966.

we did a beautiful resto on this kit as it had some issues and was missing pieces and had some incorrect parts and so on. it came out beautiful and is in excellent condition! sounds great and would make a great gigging kit and is nice enough for a collector to cherish.

the original ludwig bass drum hoops were missing inlays so we went to Gary at Precision who helped us hand pick through his lot of vintage style black oyster to find the closest matching inlays we could.

the supra is all original but is missing 50% of the muffler ( the bat arm and white felt pad) but we replaced it with later era ludwig parts so the muffler functions 100%

overall the kit is beautiful and sounds fantastic!
