What do we have here? Can anyone identify this single head snare? Does it have much value? It's another one of those 'trying to buy it long distance' situations. Drum is 4 x 15 with no markings.

More than likely it's a Duplex (circa 1890-1920). I have 2 very similar.

Very innovative company. I'd buy it for the historic value alone.

They do play well.

Clean it up, oil and polish, tuck a new head and enjoy.
