I think Fred Astaire did some serious practice to get this solo right. He's got some sweet vintage drums ahead of them being vintage, and uses both bop and boom bass drums. Hopefully the link loads.

Hey, Dan, that was amazing! Thanks for posting! There is no doubt that the gentleman was incredibly talented but, and maybe it's just me, I have always cringed when Keith Moon blew up his drums or kicked them off the riser. I feel the same way, although not quite so badly, when I see these beautiful instruments kicked even though no harm was sustained. Nevertheless, what a solo!!!
