Help with pricing on my Ludwigs

Loading...

Hello vintage drum experts,

I have a kit listed for sale on reverb.com and wanted to get some opinions on whether or not this kit is priced fairly. I've spoken with a famous vintage drum shop owner and the drums are in line with what he would charge. That being said, I do understand most of us can't command the kind of prices this guy can. Please see the link below for photos and a description...it really is a beautiful kit. Thanks for your help!

Be patient with this. I think the price is good. You just gotta wait for the buyer who's in the market for this kit. Good luck with it.

Thank you for your input. I'm not in a hurry to sell, so that's a good thing.

When you look at the drums Ludwig are making today they're trying to reproduce the vintage shells and those sets are much more expensive than the vintage set. I know which one I'd be spending the money on. And it sure wouldn't be the modern set. The vintage set has some character to it, sounds great and is just a beautiful thing to look at. You don't even have to play it to enjoy it. Best of luck.
