Help with a snare drum Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Good morning, I would like some help with a snare drum that my 13 year old nephew has been given. I have no knowledge of drums and I do sell on Ebay and as he would like to sell this drum I would like to find the best avenue for him to place the ad on. It is a Ludwig Ajax B&H 14x5 snare drum with yellow crystal mottled finish the stamp on the back of the metal marker is 57507.

I know that this is post war and that Boosey & Hawkes stopped making drums in 1970.

Would like a date it was made and proper descriptions for the drum also they live in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada which is close to the border so shipping to the USA is easy as the drum will be fairly heavy.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

LOL - from PA either!

Photos would be most helpful. Hard to assess anything sight unseen.

Too many great drums to list here!

Thank you for the smart remarks I had expected a little more gentlemanly comments (who am I kidding you are drummers... back at ya) but will now upload if I can some pictures that might be of more help (have to get the webmaster to do it) basically I would like a guesstimate range on the price to ask and the best location to sell this on either this website or Ebay.
