Help to ID Ludwig 79-80 Kit Last viewed: 5 hours ago

Newbie here, maiden post.

I just picked up this kit and need help in identifying it. I think it's an '80 Pro Beat kit without at 16" floor tom. It has a 14x24" kick, 9x13" and 10x14" toms and a 16x18" floor tom. Drums are 6 ply, in I think a natural mahogany finish. The Rock Machine model also came in those sizes as a 5-piece.

Drums have scars and bass drum is missing spurs and the double tom holder. Toms missing mufflers.

Serial numbers on BD and toms are 218xxxx ('80?) while floor tom is 2003409 ('79?).

Selling the kit and taking offers if anyone is interested. I am in Racine, WI.

Aww man! You got that one out from under me on Janesville Craigslist the other day didn't you!? What did you end up getting it for? They were asking $400 right? Love those 6 ply shells, and great sizes! Would be nice to throw a 16 in there too though!
