Help needed identifying hoops' plating and style: '54 Hollywood Ace Resurrection Last viewed: 52 minutes ago

My thanks list continues to grow, now with the help of Vintagemore2000 in replacing the 3 missing t-rods! Thanks, again everyone for all your advice and assistance with this baby.

I'm trying to fill in some of the many of my knowledge gaps on my Radio King. I'm trying to figure out:

1. If my hoops are nickel or chrome over brass?

2. What style of hoops I have - I've read references like "Chopper", "Stick Saver" -

Catalogs sometimes show nickel or chrome options to choose from - that means the plating of your choice is applied to:

A. All of the lugs, strainer hardware (three point as well as extenders), t-rods, hoops.

B. Only the lugs

C. Only the hoops

D. None of the above

New pictures included - can anyone take me to school on this?

Thanks again.

the options were all chrome parts or either all Nickel parts But through the years they have become mixed.. Your rims look to be chrome stickchopper rims. get some simichrome metal polish for the metal parts. http://www.rakuten.com/prod/tube-of-simichrome-polish-paste-test-bakelite-metals/213584082.html?listingId=243798494
