I bought a set of Slingerlands on Ebay with this old Japanese snare ..

1. Any idea what brand ?

2. Which throwoff should I use based on the existing hole pattern?

Looks to me like there may be one or more non-original holes. Can you provide additional pictures, showing the inside? Is the original butt still attached? More pictures if possible.

I saw this snare on Craigslist in my area recently, looks to have the same lugs. No idea what brand, but if you were to find an identical strainer, maybe it would fit the hole pattern.

Hoshino , of course.

Funny enough, today at my local music store I bought a 24" bass drum and a 18" floor tom, both Hoshino Sumo Dude

Set me back 30 bucks !

I'm such a drum addict !
