Help ID'ing these please

A band friend of mine asked me what I thought these drums might be and after looking at the photos I have no idea what brand or year they are. So I asking you guys if you might be able help out. He has only a bass drum and snare drum along with some old hardware. The bass drum is a little smaller than most older ones I have seen. There are no badges on them but they have some pretty decent calf skin heads, and a unique snare throw-off. Sorry for the photos but this is what he sent me and I can try to get specific ones if you guys need some.

Thanks

Looks like you may have some WW1 era drums on your hands..No badges will make these a little hard to identify, but i'm sure you'll find some knowledegable forum member

who may have a clue as to who made these drums and what these drums are..

Hopefully someone who might know will chime in. I am trying to get some more and better photos along with some photos so the hardware he got with the drums.

Here is a photo of the snare drum stand and the pedal that came with the drums. Maybe this can help possibly identifiy the age and brand of the drums.

The snare stand looks like an old W&A, if so, it's probably from 1915 to 1925 that that particular style snare stand was around. The drum is probably from the same time period. Hard to date drums accurately without tags, or badges. You just have to go by, hardware, shells and the style of the drum. On all counts your drum fits into the early 20th century category. It doesn't make the drum 'great' or even rare, it's just real old and that makes it a cool thing. Nice drum. Love the old hardware.

Too many great drums to list here!

Got the sizes for each drum. The Bass drum is 20 x 8, and the snare is a 14 x 4-3/4" rim to rim. Looked inside vent holes and cannot see any markings either. Well it appears John's analysis is probably correct on them being from the teens to twenties.

Thanks for the replies.
