Help Identifying Stand Last viewed: 1 day ago

Need some assistance on trying to identify what this stand is please. The bottom appears to be 50's possibly made by W&A from what I can tell. The top portion has me puzzled. I am not familiar with the round sleeve or the very upper portion. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Had a Gretsch snare stand w/ the bottom portion of the stand. Almost looks like a Frankenstein ... w/ the upper post looking a lot like Rogers.

I think the bottom section is W & A which may have been sold as Gretsch or Ludwig and your top two sections are late 60's Slingerland. At least I have an early Slingerland "Buddy Rich" cymbal stand and the top two sections look the same as what you have there (with the detachable tilter removed). My slightly later versions of the same stand have a different style adjustment on the top of the middle tube but one of them does match yours and I'm 95% sure it's original (although you never know when previous owners liked to mix 'n' match).

Thanks for the info guys. I do appreciate it.

Makes good sense. This goes with a kit I purchased a few months ago. The bass is a W&A Gretsch shell with Slingerland Hardware and the ride tom is WFL. The hi hat stand is Slingerland. So this fits right in this mix. Now that you mention the tilter being removed, it makes total sense KO.

Seller found this a few months after I purchased the kit. What should I expect to pay for it? I would like to have it back with the kit.

Mike,

Seems like not much more than cost to ship it. If you bought kit from me I'd just give it to you. Not how the world works so I'd say not more than 30 shipped -
