Help Identifying a Rogers Kit Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Hey sorry for the delay, I just saw it on a flickr album, but I can't seem to find it now, don't know if that means it has been sold.

Here are the pictures, as promised:

You can see more of them on my flickr page:

The setup is quite cymbal heavy these days!

Cheers

Looks in nice shape.

I know the set you mean now for £499 on flicker.

You have an original English Rogers bass drum head there with the logo. Take of that there are not many about. It is probably the rarest part of your set - which doesn't mean that it is worth a lot.

Yeah I was thinking that it is an original, the rest of the heads are well overdue for a change though, except the Aquarian on the bass drum, that was new when I got the kit. I'm happy with the kit, and the condition of it though, last thing to do is to just touch up those bass hoops with a bit of black wood paint and it will look lovely =]

It usually amazes people how well such an old kit suits my heavy style of playing, and it did me at first to be honest. I love how versatile the sound is, from playing jazz with my dad, to thrash/death metal with some friends and everything in between.
