Heres some pics of a kit I'm going to go see later tonight..

I noticed the diecast hoops..

also the slotted rods on some of the drums..

also in one of the pics you can see (I think is 3ply)..

Also inside the flr tom (the inside lug bracket / looks to be Premier)..

Ok, experts what else do you eyes see..

Premier / Sonor / ..? Japanese...USA/Kents.

No badges or stamped of origin.

that I can see from the pics..

Is it a matching set of ?

or a mismatch that's throwing me off..

Comments pls..!

My best guess would be 60's Sonors. Tear-drop lugs... die-cast rims, etc.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Die cast hoops, slot head screws... Looks a lot like an English made kit,

Probably one of the lesser known brands like rose Morris or an early Ajax.

ok...

what about the newish looking brackets inside the drum (holding the lugs on)

looks to be 2 bolts per...!

I vaguely remember a Premier having this before..???

No idea, but check out this website, the edgeware and John grey drums look similar

Maybe post on mikedolbear - they'll probably no more than anyone else being an English site.

Think I saw this one - Kijiji? Those big honkin' holes in the shells put me off. A shame, as they look like they could be nice shells - similar to some British orphans I've been working with, though the lugs, and Ts are not familiar.

I agree..

and the thick inlay (hoops) is usually a sign of a Japanese kit..

most USA are 1/2"...while others are 3/4 to 1"..

Those plates inside the drums are reinforcements against the shells; I have 1972 Premiers with these, and you're seeing the bolts that hold the lugs on. I do NOT recognize the lugs at all, but the shells look English to me and "might" be Premier.
