Hi

Could anyone help with determining the value of this snare ?

Leedy COB, 14 x 6.5, top strainer doesn't work, bottom strainer still works but needs some repair, original bottom strainers are missing.

Thanks !

As it sits, $450+. If it was in 'all original' condition, $1000 to $1200. Please bear in mind that assigning value to any drum is purely subjective. This is just my opinion of value.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

A great sounding drum,...

The exact model is a 1930’s "Leedy Broadway Dual".

It’s indeed a brass shell and I was told it’s basically the same shell as the illustrious black beauties from that era. If you would like to bring this beautiful instrument back to its full glory, AK Drums has most of the repro-parts.

John is about right on his assessment.

Mine was valued around $1250. It would be more with the originals snare wires in stead of the AK reproductions.
