Hey all
Just thought I would post here and say Hi to everyone. I'm a 32 1/2 year old Drummer, I've played since the age of 4 and have been a life long Rogers fan. I say that because the first Drum Set I ever remember hearing and seeing belonged to a friend of mine by the name of Tim Cantu who had a Rogers "Blue Sparkle" set (I'll post some images of his earlier setup soon.) Ever since then I’ve loved Rogers.
A little about me:
I’ve been a member of a Christian group by the name of “The Lighthouse Boys” officially for the last 21 years. I started out at age 11 playing Tambourine and learning more of the drums from Tim Cantu; who was the previous drummer before me. I took over the drums in 1988 and played up until 2000 where I took over one of the vocal spots up front, I’ve been singing up front ever since then. However, I’ve become a studio/session drummer and I go play when someone needs a drummer, back in 2005 I briefly re-assumed my Drummer roll with The Lighthouse Boys and sang and played at the same time, but let me tell you when you’re belting out gospel tunes with everything you have, it’s not easy doing it sitting down.
