I've appreciated his work for a while. Excellent that you got to say two greats on stage having fun. A bit envious, ashamed to say. Would have loved to have been there. Very nice photo work, by the way.

I saw Kenny play for the Smashing Pumpkins back in about 1998. It was during the time they fired Jimmy Chamberlain due to his drug problems. Kenny was great then, and still now! At the end of the show, the band picked a few out of the audience to come and "play" on the instruments... needless to say, the person put behind the kit was not very talented.. at all.

Hey,Rod!

I heard about the show over the speakers at the gym a couple of weeks ago. I wish I could have attended! Sounds like it was a great time! Glad that you had such a positve experience!

Just a drummer who loves all things about vintage drums! Nothing more, nothing less.

Thanks all for the replies...The show was amazing and definitely worth seeing...They played the entire Bayou Country album...Please, feel free to share more Kenny stories...

As for the photos, I can`t take any credit for them because my wife was the "shutterbug" for the evening...Besides, I couldn`t possibly have managed it with a 24 oz draft beer in each hand!!

Cheers

I have seen Kenny play quite a few times. That guy is a machine. I was first tune into Kenny back in the early career of John Cougar Mellencamp. Meet him several times. Great guy.

Looking for a late 80's to early 90's, preferably Arctic White Pearl MLX 14x14 floor tom.
