Has Champagne Sparkle Wrap Been Discontinued And If So,Why? Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Drummer808-first i`d like to say what a beautiful Gretch kit you have! I`m still wiping the drool off my keyboard after seeing it.I love Champagne Sparkle and i`m sad to hear we may have finally found out the truth of the matter with your post.I too was talking with Jack Lawton just yesterday about this situation and he told me the same thing.I wonder if some of the members did get together and make the wrap purchase from Delmar-would be great if they had.

Thanks to all the forum members for their posts on this topic-very interesting reads here. Now that we know the original Champagne wrap seems to not be available or has been discontinued-which way will that effect the price of our Champagne Sparkle sets? Maybe that will be another topic and debate further on down the road.

If anyone out there has some other info or has some original wrap for sale please chime in.I`m sure all the owners of these Champagne beauties would be most interested...

According the post Champagne is available, but it is expensive enough that the supply houses cannot afford a stocking order and you cannot purchase directly from Delmar. It would be interesting to note how many sheets it would take and what those sheets would cost to order some.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Thanks for this post VistaBob and a good spot on this wrap from ebay. It`s on my watch list and will be interesting to see what it goes for(even if it`s only good for patching).Seems that this is the only way we`ll be able to buy this wrap from now on...
